NEW STUDENT ADMISSION (PMB) ITB 2025
Overview
The New Student Admission Program (Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru / PMB) at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) is a comprehensive series of orientation and preparatory activities for all incoming undergraduate students in 2025. This program is designed to help students transition smoothly into university life by introducing them to ITB’s academic environment, learning systems, and core campus values.
The PMB program consists of the following integrated components:
- Academic Readiness and Learner Character Mapping
- Academic Preparation in Mathematics (for selected students)
- Introduction to Campus Life and Academic Support Services
- Character Development as Future Members of the ITB Academic Community
OBJECTIVES
PMB ITB 2025 is intended to:
- Prepare new students with essential academic competencies and learner character.
- Familiarize students with ITB’s academic systems, institutional services, and learning culture.
- Establish an initial sense of belonging and connection between students, their faculties/schools, and the broader academic community.
- Promote awareness of students’ personal, academic, and social responsibilities within the context of higher education.

Important Notes
- Any changes or updates to the schedule will be announced through ITB’s official communication platforms, including Microsoft Teams (“ITB 2025”), the official website, or email.
- Students from the Faculty of Art and Design (FSRD) are exempt from participating in Academic Readiness Mapping for Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, as well as the Mathematics Preparation Program. Nevertheless, they are expected to take part in all other PMB activities as scheduled.
- Full participation in PMB activities is mandatory, as each component plays an important role in students’ academic, social, and personal development at ITB.
- All students must ensure that they have an active ITB account and have joined the official Microsoft Teams group “ITB 2025” to receive timely updates and announcements.
