Welcome to the Bandung Institute of Technology environment. For the next year, new students will participate in the Joint Preparation Phase Program. This phase is a stage to equalize the understanding of basic knowledge of new ITB students who come from various high schools in the city and regions, as well as to provide basic knowledge and solid skills so that students are ready to enter education in the study program of their interest. The first year program also equips students with an introduction to campus life and the cultural adaptation process from student to student, from a structured and independent learning process, as well as the process of emotional and behavioral maturation from adolescents towards adulthood, who are used to living regularly at school to student life with a unique culture on campus.

New students are expected to be able to immediately integrate into the ITB academic community, learning to work creatively in academic and non-academic activities.
