The Directorate of Joint Preparation (DITSAMA) at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) is pleased to announce the implementation of the Short Semester (SP) and Summer Camp (SC) programs for the 2024/2025 Academic Year. These programs are intended for students who wish to retake or complete courses in the Joint Preparation Stage (TPB) and ITB Compulsory Courses (MKWI). Students may register for up to 9 credits (SKS) in total.

1. Short Semester
   • Lecture Period: July 7 – August 29, 2025
   • Eligible Participants:

     • Students who have not passed and need to retake the course

     • Students who have not previously enrolled in the course

   • Courses Offered:

     • KU2071 Pancasila and Civic Education (for 2023 intake and earlier)

     • WI1102 Computational Thinking

     • WI1103 Introduction to Sustainability Principles

     • WI2003 Physical Education

2. Summer Camp (SC)
   • Implementation Period:
     • Period I: July 7 – July 31, 2025
     • Period II: August 1 – August 29, 2025
   • Courses Offered:

     • Mathematics: Mathematics I, Mathematics IIA, Mathematics IIC, Mathematics IID

     • Physics: Basic Physics I, Basic Physics IIA

     • Chemistry: Basic Chemistry I, Basic Chemistry IIA, Basic Chemistry IIB, Basic Chemistry IIC

     • Laboratory Courses: Basic Physics Laboratory I, Basic Physics Laboratory II, and Basic Chemistry Laboratory

   • Note: Laboratory sessions will be conducted at ITB Jatinangor Campus.
   • Special Provisions:

     • Open exclusively to students retaking the courses

     • Students are not permitted to enroll in the same course in both periods

     • Priority will be given to students who received an E grade or who have not passed the TPB program in accordance with academic regulations

     • Students with a D grade are not eligible to retake the course, except if their TPB GPA is below 2.00

3. Registration Schedule
   • Enrollment for Short Semester (SP) and Summer Camp (SC): July 1–4, 2025

   • Study Plan Adjustment (PRS): July 15–18, 2025

   • Students who miss the official enrollment period may register during the PRS phase, provided they have informed the course instructor in advance and have attended the classes on a sit-in basis prior to formal registration.
4. Class Locations and Schedules
   • Courses will be held at ITB Ganesha Campus and ITB Jatinangor Campus.
   • Class schedules can be accessed via the SiX ITB academic portal.
5. Attendance Requirement : Students are required to attend at least 80% of the total sessions. Failure to meet this attendance threshold may negatively affect academic assessment and course completion status.
6. Program Fees
   • IDR 1,000,000 per credit (SKS) for Domestic Undergraduate Students (Non-International Program)

   • IDR 2,000,000 per credit (SKS) for International Undergraduate Students

   • These fees are stipulated in accordance with ITB Rector’s Regulation No. 11A/IT1.A/PER/2024.
