Bandung, 30 October 2025 – The Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to expanding access to quality education through strategic partnerships with secondary schools across Indonesia. On Thursday, 30 October 2025, ITB and RUSHD Premier High School officially established their collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) held at the Rectorate Building Meeting Room, ITB Tamansari Campus, Bandung.

The collaboration encompasses the implementation of a Pre-University Program designed to enhance students’ academic readiness and character development prior to entering higher education. The program includes academic mentoring, campus and cultural orientation, teacher capacity-building, and student competency development initiatives.

The signing ceremony was attended by ITB leadership, including Prof. Irwan Meilano (Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs), Prof. Dr. Fatimah Arofiati Noor, S.Si., M.Si. (Director of Common Preparatory Courses), Oktofa Yudha Sudrajad, S.T., M.S.M., Ph.D. (Head of the Pre-University Subdirectorate), Dr. Novya Ekawati, S.T., M.T. (Head of Pre-University Administration Section), and Rahmat Slamet Suhendi, A.Md., S.T. (Head of Interpersonal Skills Development Section), as well as representatives from the ITB Directorate of Partnerships.

Representing RUSHD Premier High School, Mr. Eko Sugiyanto, S.Si., M.Pd. (Principal), attended the event alongside teachers and school representatives.

Through this program, the Directorate of Common Preparatory Courses (DITSAMA) ITB reaffirms its role as a driving force in pre-tertiary educational transformation by bridging the gap between secondary and higher education. This initiative not only strengthens academic preparedness but also fosters leadership, integrity, and a strong spirit of collaboration among students.

The partnership between ITB and RUSHD Premier High School marks a concrete step toward building an inclusive, competitive, and impactful educational ecosystem. It is hoped that this collaboration will inspire other schools to take part in preparing future generations who are ready to face the challenges of a rapidly evolving world.
