ITB Kelas Cendekia 2025: Academic Exploration and Personal Growth for High School Students

The Directorate of Joint Preparatory Stage at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) proudly presents the flagship program Kelas Cendekia ITB: Explorations of Young Scholars—a six-day pre-university experience specially designed for high school students across Indonesia. This year’s program will take place on 6–11 July 2025, hosted at ITB Ganesha Campus, Jatinangor Campus, and several educational venues in and around the city of Bandung.

Kelas Cendekia ITB 2025 adopts an exploratory, interactive, and engaging approach to learning. Through a series of academic sessions led by lecturers from various disciplines, participants will gain firsthand insight into how science, technology, the arts, and business are practiced within ITB’s academic environment. Students will also have the opportunity to experience the university atmosphere, classroom dynamics, and the collaborative learning culture that defines ITB.

Beyond classroom learning, the program includes industry visits, campus tours, interactive discussions with current students and alumni, and participation in collaborative projects that challenge participants to solve real-world problems using creative and applied approaches. The program concludes with a social gathering and cultural performance night, providing a space for reflection, appreciation, and community building.

This program also serves as an early opportunity for academic interest exploration, enabling participants to better understand their strengths and potential through direct engagement with ITB’s academic and non-academic ecosystems. With a self-development-centered pedagogy and inclusive thematic curriculum, the program is designed to enhance academic literacy and build confidence in preparing for higher education.

Facilities provided include accommodation and local transportation, three daily meals, industrial visits, official merchandise, and a certificate of participation. The program fee is Rp10,000,000 for the first 20 registrants (normal price: Rp12,000,000).

Kelas Cendekia ITB opens the door for high school students to discover university life not only through academic exploration but also by fostering character development, critical thinking, and essential social skills for their future.
