Bandung, October 20, 2025 — As part of its ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive and impactful educational ecosystem, the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), through the Directorate of Common Preparatory Courses (DITSAMA), welcomed a visit from SMAIT Amalia Cibinong, Bogor Regency, on Monday, October 20, 2025. The event, held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. (WIB), was attended by 86 students from the science program and 6 accompanying teachers.

The visit served as a tangible effort to introduce high school students to the academic environment of higher education. In his welcoming remarks, Dr. Anton Timur Jaelani, S.Si., M.Si., representing ITB, expressed his appreciation for the students’ enthusiasm in learning more about ITB’s academic landscape. He also emphasized the importance of dreams, perseverance, and hard work as essential foundations for success in pursuing higher education.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore several of ITB’s leading faculties, including the Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering (FTTM), the School of Pharmacy (SF), and the Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI). Through these activities, participants not only experienced the atmosphere and facilities of the campus but also gained exposure to various ongoing research projects and innovations developed by the ITB academic community.

DITSAMA believes that early academic orientation plays a crucial role in shaping future university students who are not only cognitively prepared but also strong in character and motivation. Thus, initiatives like this visit form an integral part of ITB’s broader strategy to build a more inclusive and equitable higher education landscape.

It is hoped that this visit will ignite students’ enthusiasm for learning, broaden their intellectual horizons, and inspire them to pursue their dreams of studying at the Bandung Institute of Technology. DITSAMA remains committed to expanding collaborative engagements with schools across Indonesia to collectively nurture a generation that is excellent, competitive, and impactful for the nation.
